Roma Combs Labyrinth
The Roma Combs Labyrinth Garden
The Roma Combs Labyrinth Garden, adjacent to the Haled Street facility,
is a recent addition to the Sunnyside campus. This garden, funded in part
by a Winston-Salem Foundation ECHO grant, is intended to be a neighborhood
gathering place.
The entire community is urged to use this beautiful place for any formal or
informal event. You are invited to walk the seven-circuit labyrinth that is
the centerpiece of the garden.

Find Rest For Your Soul
"Ask for the ancient path, where the good way lies; and walk in
it, and find rest for your soul."
The Roma Combs Labyrinth Garden
The labyrinth is an archetype of unity and spiritual wholeness, a
divine imprint. Walk the labyrinth and discover an age-old tradition of
worship designed for spiritual enrichment.
As you follow the curving path, the journey to the center is a time of
releasing, letting go of the details of life to quiet the mind, balance
the body and calm the soul. Make an intentional effort to expect an answer
to the questions you bring to this place.
Resting in the center is a time for spiritual enrichment. Here you will
receive energy, insight and serenity through quiet prayer, reflection and
meditation. Anticipate a sacred response to your supplication.
The walk out is a time for unifying the body, mind, and soul. It will
strengthen and energize the spirit in for the challenges of the world.
Use this time as preparation for experiencing life with a new vision
and purpose.
