Roma Combs Labyrinth Garden
The Roma Combs
Labyrinth Garden
The Roma Combs Labyrinth Garden is located adjacent to the Haled Street
facility. This garden, funded in part by a Winston-Salem Foundation ECHO
grant, is intended to be a neighborhood gathering place.
 |
The entire community is urged to use this beautiful place for any
formal or informal event. You are invited to walk the seven-circuit
labyrinth that is the centerpiece of the garden. |
Find Rest
For Your Soul
"Ask for the ancient path, where the good way lies; and walk in it, and
find rest for your soul."
The Roma Combs Labyrinth Garden
Created in 2002, the Roma Combs Labyrinth Garden allows for the
community to walk the labyrinth and discover an age-old tradition of
worship designed for spiritual enrichment.
|
The garden contains
a seven-circuit flower labyrinth as its centerpiece, which
represents finding spiritual wholeness. Labyrinths have only one
path that leads into the center and the same path leads back out.
The path allows for peace, prayer and contemplation. We encourage
individuals and groups to take advantage of the labyrinth garden. |
